Gordon Brooks
Gordon Brooks is the Chief Financial Officer and Senior Vice President at Blue Coat Systems. He is responsible for the worldwide finance organization, including accounting and reporting, strategic planning, treasury, tax, audit, and investor relations.
Mr. Brooks comes to Blue Coat with more than 20 years of financial, accounting and merger and acquisition experience. Mr. Brooks joins Blue Coat from VMware where he served as vice president, corporate finance, following his role as chief financial officer for Spikesource, Inc.
Prior to Spikesource, Mr. Brooks served in a variety of capacities over eight years at BEA Systems, with his last role as senior vice president of finance and corporate controller. Before BEA Systems, Inc., he served in several other high-tech companies, including Microsoft and WebTV Networks. Mr. Brooks began his career as an auditor in the Palo Alto office of Ernst & Young, LLP. He has a Master of Accounting from the University of Southern California.
