Matt MacKenzie has more than 15 years of experience leading corporate legal teams and other administration functions. At Blue Coat, Mr. MacKenzie oversees the Legal, Human Resources, IT and Facilities organizations in addition to serving as Blue Coat’s General Counsel and corporate secretary.
Prior to joining Blue Coat, Mr. MacKenzie was Chief Administrative Officer and General Counsel for Mincom, where he was responsible for the legal and corporate governance functions of the global Mincom group. Mr. MacKenzie played a leading role in globalizing business processes across the Mincom group that simplified and improved decision making across business units. The company was acquired by the ABB Group in July 2011. Prior to Mincom, Mr. MacKenzie was SVP of Corporate & Legal Affairs and General Counsel at E2open, where he built and led the company’s Legal and Corporate Development departments. Mr. MacKenzie also served as E2open’s Chief Financial Officer during 2005-2006, where he led all administrative functions, including Finance and Human Resources.
Mr. MacKenzie began his career as an attorney with Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati, where he represented public and private technology companies primarily in the software, computer hardware and electronics, and information services sectors.
Mr. MacKenzie holds a B.A. and J.D. from the University of California, Los Angeles, and an M.B.A. from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.
